This is Katy with Big FishGames- I just wanted to check in and let you know that we're aware that there are some wrinkles that need to be ironed out following the release of Lion andthat we’re working on things even as we speak. This reminds me why I canceled the membership and it is staying canceled.

Of course the games stored on BFG under my account will not install as they are linked into GM. When GM became MANDATORY, I canceld the membership, however, I feel entitled to use the games I purchased over the last 2 years. What irks me is BFG has a GM that works with Lion, but will not give anyone a link to download it unless they are a subscriber. However, having to use GM to download/install the games from BFG doesn't work because GM is not compatible with Lion. So this tells me the games are compatible. I was amazed, the games worked, the BFG GM came up, I hit cancel and am able to play the games. I went to Shared folder on the backup drive and then dragged/dropped the GameFishCache in the Lion System. Today I was able to get the two games I had working WITHOUT GM. So I backed up the entire hard drive, installed new drive and installed Lion. My hard drive died on me 2 days before Lion release. If you find a solution, please post and let us know. I don't want to lose the use of the games I have purchased, but I am not putting up with this. BFG isn't the only provider selling games for MAC. But there are people on BFG forums that says there is a GM that works with Lion, but I guess it is a big big secret and only for those who have an active account.

One person tried to post the link for the GM that does work with Lion and the Moderator of Big Fish removed it and said 'It is against BFG policies'. Considering how many games I have purchased from them and I still have 2 game credits, this behavior of theirs is despiccable. If you are willing to become a Game Fish Member (at 6.99/month) or to reactivate your account, then they will assist you. I was a subscriber until GM was required and it was a problem on my system and decided to terminate my contract with them. There is a solution, however, unless you are a subscriber you cannot use the online chat. I had problems with GM even with Snow Leopard.
